This five-day getaway cruise out of and back to San Francisco with stops in San Diego and Ensenada Mexico was to get away alone in order to get some personal work done in the stateroom while also enjoying shipboard activities. The mini-suite stateroom was superb: comfortable, no issues, and spotless upon arrival; everything worked and most impressive were a few small sensor lights that turned on below the desk and nightstand when I rose in the middle of the night, aiding with seeing. Also, the stateroom door’s lock was impressive in how it opened each time I approached the cabin room.
Stuff I loved most: Shipboard staff were humorous, approachable, and enthusiastic in making sure questions were answered and also fully understood. Art aboard the ship in the hallways (e.g. among the many staircases) was stunning and fantastic to enjoy looking at. About food, the portions of food served in the restaurants were perfect; not large - this helped allow me to try additional item(s) on the menu and also to not waste food, and also to not leave the dining room lethargic and stuffed’. There was lots of stuff to do onboard; and sometimes simply wandering around aimlessly was enormously enjoyable. And the bed in the stateroom was very comfortable with its softness and good linens.
About events, on the first evening and subsequent evenings there was a fun meet-up get-together of LGBT folks in one of the bars - around seventeen attended.
