This is a lovely big ship that is very stable for those that may be reluctant to cruise due to the fear of sea sickness. This was our first Australian cruise having cruised only once before to Alaska from Vancouver. We departed from Brisbane for a 4 night cruise to Airlie Beach and return. Our ocean view balcony room was lovely and very comfortable. The ship seemed overcrowded as it was difficult to participate in any of the activities such as trivia events or find a seat in one of the bars.

Cooling off in the pools was out of the question due to the amount of passengers on board. Hygiene was lacking in the main dining area. It would be more hygienic for staff to dish out the meals rather that a smorgasbord arrangement. Consequently we arrived home with norovirus like symptoms. Due to this bad experience we won’t bother cruising again unless hygiene measures improve. Unless you have a strong immune system forget about cruising.
