Had friends that booked this cruise, so we joined them. This was our 4th cruise in the past 12 months. The embarkation was poor, long lines, had to repeat much if the info we had entered online, take pictures again, etc. Took an hour to get on board. Cabin wasn't ready, bags didn't show up until 5pm. The flowers my wife ordered for us and our friends never arrived (the card did). Guest services agent had attitude and actually said, ' what do you want me to do about it?' Manager fixed up things next day.

Overall, felt NCL was cutting corners, especially in MDR. Even french onion soup in le bistro and cagneys was lacking cheese (as compared to our cruise on the Sun in September). Teppanyaki was terrible, very loud, food so salty as to be inedible, poor wait service. It seemed the ship was short staffed for the almost full ship. Service was so slow we missed some of the shows. O'sheehans had poor service, screwed up orders a couple of times. Debarkation was a nightmare. Gangway didn't work so they brought us off on deck 4. No one from ncl was there to organize things, stairs, elevators and existing lines all convergibg. People had short tempers.

Positives: entertainment was better than average, good comedian, cool aerialist act. Good musical groups. Cagneys was excellent, le bistro very good. The Dawn has lots of room and chaises around pool.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Seemed a bit small. Old ship, few electric outlets, nothing near bed
