Sadly, NCL Dawn is just a vehicle to get to fun port destinations. As a pretty frequent cruiser, and latitudes member I must say we have seen a steady decline in NCL. The Dawn does not really honor the latitudes program that they promise to loyal repeat customers. The service is good, despite the obvious staff cutbacks. There are no longer a towel monitors and people were grabbing 4 or 5 towels and leaving them all over the pool area, finding a chair was very difficult. The dinner reservations made in advance were lost in hyper space and despite having printout, I had to talk to 3 different people to finally get my reservations honored. Room stewards seemed overworked despite not doing turn down service. Communication was an issue as passengers were kept in dark. disembarkation was absolute nightmare, people who waited 3 hours in line to disembark patiently were left to scramble in a mob scene with little direction. The ports were great stops and made trip worthwhile.
