We went on this cruise as a group of 8 people ranging in age from 21- 54. It really was a great cruise but I do feel like there was room for improvement. This was my fifth Carnival cruise.

Firstly the staff were amazing - as always they worked very hard to make sure we were all taken care of. Having said that, I definitely felt that they were a bit more “harried” than what I’m used to. I think it’s because the ratio of crew to passengers is higher than on the smaller ships. There were little things like waiting for sodas, or coffee in the dining room, orders getting mixed up and so on.

The other issue we had was that with the exception of pizza and one ice cream station, all the food options were shut down by 10. If you attend a show, it shouldn’t be so hard to get a snack afterwards. In addition, because it was the only option, the pizza lineup after 10 was always crazy. In addition the dessert options on the Lido deck were very limited. It seemed that if you wanted a pastry or a cookie, it was next to impossible to find. Last but not least, our son had the bubbles package but after 10, most if not all drink stations were closed.

Cabin Review

Interior

Our cabin was awesome. We had 2 large closets as well as a dressing table with drawers and a fridge. The bed was comfortable and they were nicely decorated.
