
It is understandable why they send an older ship to Antarctica, people are looking for that specific destination.
It was a big disappointment dealing with Celebrity before the cruise: many cancellations and re-bookings of services and excursions with significant loss of funds when converting CAD to USD and back. E-mails were not answered, phone calls as well, after 2-3 hours waiting on hold, and I couldn't wait longer. Every time we had to reach to our travel agent for help in communications.
However, almost everything on board the ship went smoothly, service was adequate, stateroom in good order, maid and waiters were perfect. The 2nd part of the cruise food and drinks were dispensed by personnel because of stomach flu outbreak.
