This was my second time on Anthem, and I loved it just as much as the first. We did have a hiccup with the seating at dinner, however. We had requested a table by the window in our initial reservation, and it didn't get resolved until the third night of the cruise. It was specifically stated in our reservation that we wanted a table near the window, how hard is that to accommodate? We did bring this up to the Assistant Maitre'd, who basically ignored us. It wasn't until we brought it up to the Maitre'd that it got resolved. We were initially informed that we couldn't be moved to one of the 5 or 6 tables that sat there EMPTY THE ENTIRE TIME our first two nights because they were reserved. This is not true: the Maitre'd told us that if they remain empty after 15 min., that we should have been moved, rather than ignored. From then on, he personally seated us.

Other than arriving to Port Canaveral late due to weather, we had an excellent time. We didn't get as much time as we had hoped in Sea World, but we don't hold Royal responsible for that. They don't control the weather, and I'm sure they would be just as upset as we were if they were in our situation.

My favorite, however, was the show "We Will Rock You". This Olivier-winning musical from the West End features songs by Queen and poses the question of what life would be like if there wasn't music as we know it. Even my niece (who's 10) LOVED the show and sang along to all the songs, which is something I was not expecting.

Cabin Review

Loved it so much last year when I stayed in it that I reserved the same it again for this cruise! It was just the right size for 4 people. Everyone had their own space.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

I was looking forward to Sea World, but due to our late arrival, we only had time for one ride and one show. I wanted to see 2 of the 3 shows and the one show I got to see wasn't the one I wanted. Also, trying to find ANYTHING was a bear: nobody knew where anything was, those who did didn't speak English, and there were no hard copies of maps for us to walk around with. We did use my app, but the app wasn't updated with the map and our current location.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

5th time here, we love it! The zipline was so much fun! I taught my niece how to snorkel while at the beach. She even saw Jeff, the nurse shark on Chill Island!
