My husband and I had booked this cruise last year but due to the boat catching fire, it was canceled and refunded and a free cruise was given to use before May of 2023. We chose to do the freedom. This is our first carnival cruise but not our first cruise. The staff was friendly for the most part but not exceptionally friendly and we did tip in addition to pre paid gratuities. Our room steward, Wayan was great. Buffet lines were exceptionally long and food was terrible. Dining room food was ok. Neiko and Devi were great in the MDR. Guys burgers and the pizza was nice. The comedy shows should be held in the theater. There isn't enough room in Punchliners to accommodate the people who want to watch and if you don't get in line 30 mins early and wait, you won't get a seat. Our balcony room was incredibly noisy. TV awful. Wi-Fi was terrible. Don't bother purchasing it because you don't get any service. The casino paid out well. Had to beg for a drink though. They don't have enough waiters on staff for the amount of staff. Islands were beautiful. Boat was a nice size but very outdated and needs refurbished. Debarkation was absolute nightmare. They have no one directing traffic. Took 2 hours to get off the ship and another hour to get out of the parking deck. I'll cruise carnival again, but not this ship

Cabin Review

Terrible. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything the person in the ext room

Is doing. I can hear them flush the toilet, showering, talking, their tv, etc
