My wife and I loved our time on Prima enough that were doing another 14 day sailing on her later in the year. The room was nicely laid out and spacious and the food was fantastic. We loved Indulge Food hall and tried 4 of the specialty restaurants (Food Republic, Palomar, Onda and Le Bistro). I knew my way around by the first day after embarkation and is no more confusing than any big hotel. The ship itself was beautiful and definitely reminded me of an upscale hotel.

I can definitely say the pool area is small and gets crowded though we were able to get seats when we wanted them. The service is top notch and if a bar gets crowded there are always 2-3 right nearby that have seating. We managed to see every show we wanted (Donna Summers, Noise Boys, Price is Right, 2 nights in Syd Normans and a few bands in the various other bars.

If you cruise to sit at the pool and eat buffet, this is probably a bad choice of ships. Both of those are eternally congested. I can't speak to the family aspect as I did not have kids with me but there didn't seem to be very many onboard. This was my very first cruise and all thing things I was worried about never came true.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin was larger than expected with a very roomy shower. The bed was super comfortable as well.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Love Cozumel and it's people!

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Super disappointed in Grand Cayman in general. Our tour was okay but the island itself is pretty ugly. I guess I expected some fabulous Caribbean destination where the rich hide their money.

Great Stirrup Cay

Completely overrated if you don't have a cabana. Just long drink lines and crappy food. We went back early and the deck 8 pools were completely empty which was wonderful.
