We are seasoned cruisers, platinum members on princess cruises. Took 10 day Caribbean cruise, left from Fort Lauderdale on 2/17 on enchanted princess. First day we knew something wasn’t right. Sick people and staff. People coughing, sneezing, and visually sick. Cruise was mainly older people, would say average age was over 60. Older people just don’t care who they cough or sneeze on. MDR, or coughapaloza, no one from princess did ANYTHING! They took our money and didn’t care who was sick. Staff was overwhelmed all the time. Normally 1200 staff, this cruise 900. Staff sick, our cabin steward was very sick, coughing all the time. We wore masks! You would see staff members sick and coughing and next day in a mask. When we arrived in St. Thomas, many staff changed over as they were sick. This was cruise at your own risk! We couldn’t wait to take this cruise on new ship. Enchanted was just average nothing special. This cruise we called the geriatric jazzy chair cruise. It was older people everywhere. Port stops fabulous, St. Tom, Barbados, Antigua and St. Kitts wonderful. Martinique was so so.....Princess Cays it rained so we did not get off the ship. Specialty restaurants very good, MDR average at best. Buffet a joke of coughing old folks who refused to wash their hands or cover their coughs. NO protocols, never a mention on washing your hands or covering your cough. Theatre was a total joke, nothing but coughing sneezing coughing coughing sneezing!!!! Sadly we both came home sick. Production shows very nice, great fun those nights, even with coughing. Cruising is our favorite thing, but sadly we may need to lay off for some time. Can’t take 10 day cruise and have off 5 extra days for being sick!! We cruised in May 2022 on princess and it was great, wonderful cruise as no one was sick on that cruise and they didn't nickel and dime you on that cruise. This they felt desperate to get every cent they could out if you. This was cruise at your own risk. Save yourself and your money….don’t go cruising for a bit yet. Staff over worked and half of them sick!! Sad, very sad!!!” We will book with Celebrity of Viking next, they are a better line and not just average like princess has turned into..

Cabin Review

Clean and bright cabin, bed very comfortable, slept great. Bathroom was tiny, very small and the shower was like an old phone booth size. I think the Regal and Royal Princess seem larger, both in the bathroom and overall ship size if that is at all possible.

Port Reviews

Antigua

Wonderful people and great day. Did a tour of the island and the staff (did not use princess excursions) are fun and aim to please!
