This was a fantastic itinerary. antarctica. warning it is a bunch of sea days. even for us. glad we did not do the adventure ships. they really got clobbered by weather. it was cold and windy. and being on a big ship was perfect. we had a veranda. a must for this. of the four trips celebrity made to antarctica in 2023 we had the all time best trip. drake was like glass. no clouds. no snow. just perfect.

Difficult to get excursions down there. we had to buy one for cel as it was all there was. and yes you want them. the ports are fantastic. bluff cove in stanley was our favorite. we did just wander montivideo. and that was perfect.

The cruise prior to ours had a norovirus outbreak. so they were in extra clean mode. i also feel they were in denial mode. they had covid. Big time. and among crew too. capt. Would come on each day and say washy washy. but never ever did he say cover your cough. don't go to the show, watch it from your tv if you are coughing. and how about a mask patrol of those who keep hacking.
