Best way To see all the islands. Booked a hotel in Waikiki for 3 days prior and saw that island . Once on Board , was pleased with both embarkation and disembarkation. Smooth smooth smooth. Main Dining was top notch and with a balcony room, free internet and two specialty dining options it was a great food experience. The whole sign the slip thing for a drink was a pain but it worked. Two specialty's were outstanding in terms of service, food and presentation. Ship was smaller no big deal though though did feel the ocean. Staff were working hard and it showed. Evolution of service will come only after Norwegian secures staff that stick it out and become familiar with how things work. We talked to a number who had only recently been hired and never worked service before and were now in senior positions after 3 weeks. Well deserved in some cases and in some ways they were facing things they were not familiar enough with and were struggling. This should work itself out. On the negative, we payed high money for the cruise and this pre 2020 would not have been the case. Growing pains for sure. I would recommend Norwegian and we plan to book next year.

Most Positive Thing: Great dining experiences and friendly staff overall. Liked seeing the captain walking about and checking on things.

Most Negative Thing: Smokers Spot Aft Deck Level 12. CHANGE THIS!! Look I get it, people still smoke. This is a windy area and the smoke quickly blows away. This was THE spot to hang out if you wanted a quiet place with great view "WITH SHADE" and a bar. There are other parts of the ship and they see minimal traffic. My point is, most of your ship is non smoking, but the best chunk of real estate is designated for smokers and it chases the non smokers away. Put a smoking area somewhere else in the less travelled spots that are empty on your upper levels, put some loungers and ash trays and allow the majority of you ship to have access to the aft bar with shade . The Smoke is chasing the non smokers away.
