Cabin: Deluxe Verandah Suite
The Nieuw Amsterdam is definitely dated. Looks, smells, and feels like an old ship. The Pinnacle class ships are much nicer than this Signature Line ship or the even older Vista Class ships. Will never go on HAL on other than a Pinnacle Class ship.
The entertainment was horrible. Almost non-existent. There is literally nothing going on-- day or night. Main entertainment was watching a movie on the tv in the room and these were mainly old movies.
Highlight was the Neptune Suite but it could not overcome the vibe of the rest of the ship.
