We was subjected to 2 weeks of being constantly cold in all areas of this so called luxury ship The Food was a disgrace the food which was due to be hot was served just luke warm or cold as the ship was so cold the plastic plates were cold apart from the passengers wearing coats even the staff had to wear their windbreakers in the buffet after a few days all we could hear was people coughing and sneezing due to the cold we complained with others every day to the Restaurant Manager who agreed and wrote a report every day nothing was done The food in the main Restaurant due to the air conditioning being on the highest setting caused the plates to be cold and the food served cold we sent it back many times but still came back just luke warm same as in the buffet the food was the same every day apart from about 2 dishes changed same soup same pasta same deserts same fruit this is not what a cruise ship we have ever been on offers

The so called entertainment was a disgrace there was no production shows at all that princess advertises there was one magician show that was acceptable and one band show rest was a load of tack spoke to cruise director he said most passengers prefer to interact between themselves doing karaoke not my taste of entertainment he said there was entertainers in Maui that did not get on ship due to the tenders not operating one evening a film advertised in the program to start at 9pm about 15 passengers waiting at 9.15 I went over to the bar asked to contact the entertainment it turned out they were celebrating in one of the lounges and forgot about it they then started the film at 9.40 very unprofessional

We Booked this Cruise to celebrate Our Anniversary not to get flu on this ship due to the air conditioning constantly on the highest settings in all the venues except our stateroom which we could regulate looking on cruise critic reviews show many passengers have complained about the cold on this ship and have got ill This Ship I believe should not be sailing as there was floods on our deck which had about 10 cabins having water coming from these cabins which then leaked onto the carpet on our deck so we had to be careful when we left our cabin due to the the dehumidifiers going day and night with cables running across the hallway and the fowl smell was awful we was told by other passengers water was leaking through ceilings on other decks in fact one passenger had water leaking from ceiling over him even half the washing machines and dryers on all floors out of action all the time we was on this ship We walked past one of the doors on deck 15 which was marked staff only there was staff in there I saw inside there was so much dirt and rust round the pipes this was a worry The Port Maui which the Captain said was unsafe to use the tenders to go ashore has happened many times on previous Passenger Reviews why is it still on the agenda To Sum up we booked this cruise for a special occasion Our 54th Wedding Anniversary to get away from the cold in the UK not to be subjected to constantly being cold on board and catching the flu while on board which we are still suffering from after a week after this experience we feel we need to rebook another cruise with a Cruise Company but will never cruise on the Crown Princess again
