The all inclusive itinerary, including airfare and hotel, at an unbeatable price was too much to pass up. Viking found every opportunity to please and celebrate the unbelievable beauty that is Antarctica. We were blessed with amazing weather and abundant animals. The mountains, ocean, snow and ice provided a spectacular backdrop for adventure. We were spoiled with deep dives in mini submarines, kayaking in the comfort of dry suites and exploration on Special Operations Boats. Shore landings included experts in the flora and fauna we were experiencing. The ship provided an amazing level of comfort and dining, even for this vegan. Dishes were conveniently labeled and there was plenty of options. The beds were as pleasant as home. I was able to take advantage of the facilities to run and stay in shape. There were ample opportunities to catch presentations related to what we were seeing. The staff and crew were personable, knowledgeable and seemed to be as passionate about being in Antarctica as we were. All in all, I was duly impressed with the level of detail. If this sounds like a glowing review, it’s because I was not able to find fault with much of anything.
