The cruise was great, but there were a couple of downsides. The food, room and entertainment were excellent. However, we felt that the amenities were a cut below Royal Caribbean. We are going on a RCCL cruise in April so we will be able to see which one is best after the pandemic. I was surprised that Celebrity added a $17+ charge for lobster dinner. This was always free.

The real awful experience we had was on the Cartegena excursion. We paid more for this excursion than we usually do. It was a van for about 12 people. The guide spoke very poor accented English, so we could hardly understand him. In addition to not comprehending what he was saying, he didn't provide much information on the city. The seats in the van were so low that we could not see over the dashboards or out the windows - we could only see the tops of buildings. In order to see the street I had to push up against the seat with my butt 6 inches above the seat. This was very painful as I am an older person. It was a terrible experience. I complained to Celebrity, but did not receive any response!

The best excursion was on Colon where we went through the Panama Canal.
