Mainly because my Asian cruise was canceled and a mess in aviation I chose this cruise to a warm destination and closer to home.
The N. Sun was the smallest ship I ever traveled on. There was not much on board and the singers and dancers were below any expectations. Also most of the shops, bars and entertainment staff were not as brilliant as I had on other ships. Despite the recent renovation, the ship feels old. In some points in public areas like specialty restaurants on the upper deck, the floor was shaking and creaking by the working engine. On the other hand, my balcony stateroom was very good and cozy and our steward made an excellent job.
We got 4 dinners in specialty restaurants and they were great. The main dining room Seven seas was very good. Once we tried the other main dining room Four Seasons and were disappointed by the service.
Cabin was a decent size, clean and everything worked well. The bed was comfy. There were plenty of power plugs of US and EU standards and also USB. The bathroom was small but convenient.
Gibraltar is a famous small tax-free country with many shops and attractions for everyone.
