Port Reviews

Mumbai (Bombay)

Had oceania transfer which went smoothly and hotel .was very nice, We took our own trip through get your guide, which was excellent.

Koh Samui

A wonderful trip through Oceania, but again should have done a DIY we did not as could not get Ethical Elephant Sanctuary booked to fit in with shiop times, simply amazing would recommend, had the best day out.

Mangalore

Again wished we had done own thing temple wonderful but went to a farm and was nearly a repeat of previous spice farm trip but no where near as good !

Phuket

Went on trip with Oceania, was very rushed visited, went to a cultral show which was good but could not hear the commentary which was a shanme, our guide 'Bob' was ok. went to a gem factory which did not interest us so two of us sat outside for 45 mins, then visited a wonderful look out point, view great. Not really worth the money we paid but saw a lot fo Phuket from bus.

Penang

I should have taken trip to temple on myh own as the Oceania trip was very rushed, I am not so good at climbing stairs and was told we could not get to top of temple-however a buggy was available from car park which we only discovered on leaving ! It is a wonderful temple though and worth a visit-but do it on your own taking a taxi from port. could have spent hours and hours there but only had 1 hour and half.

Kelang (Kuala Lumpur)

We took a trip on our own through travel with locals Joel our guide was great, visited all the4 places we asked to see starting with being picked up from port, went to Bhuta Cave/temple, took photos of 'twin tour and went up the KL tower, went around town walked to local food place and had a meal with guide, walked to parliment square and saw so much out all day and we were dropped off at port, great value fgor money on $50 each for a 7 half hour tour, DIY you cvan choose what you do and how long you stay at each place.

Singapore

So easy to get around on metro, etc visited Gardens on the Bay just amazing went into dome, up the super tree and walked through gardens, could have spent hours and hours there, did this on our own. a must see if in Singapore.
