Overall, I like this ship with all the improvements and updates. And as long as things are going good, the crew is very helpful.

However, after taking all precautions and wearing a mask every day, about 3/4 of the way into to cruise I test positive for Covid 19. I did the right thing by reporting my situation to the medical center on the ship. At this point, cruise service became basically non-existent. I was thrown into a reserved quarantine stateroom and forgotten about. No one came to check on me to see how I was doing, check my vitals or anything else. I was provided limited food options served in takeout containers with plastic utensils. It was like I was thrown into a dark dungeon and the key was thrown away with me inside. I felt alone, abandoned and unvalued. What's worst is at the end of the cruise, Norwegian would not help me change my flight as required by New Zealand quarantine rules. Even though Norwegian booked all my flights, I was told by Norwegian staff that once I left the ship I was no longer their responsibility. Had I not had additional resources, I would have been stranded in Auckland, New Zealand. No one deserves this kind of treatment from a cruise line when you need them most.
