We have taken a Viking river cruise and was very impressed with the activities, staff and food. We chose this cruise because I have wanted to take a Panama cruise for several years. I prefer a smaller cruise ship with people close to my age range and interests and no children under 18. We had such an incredible time meeting new people, trying new foods and attending the shows and lectures. We ate in the word cafe just about every meal. The food was incredible and the selection outstanding. I tried foods I have never eaten before. The staff were very attentive to providing drinks and removing dishes as one course was completed. We enjoyed the different musicians and came back for repeat performances for several of them. The cruise director was such a delight and kept people excited about what activities were happening on the voyage. The Viking Star is a beautiful ship with incredlibe team members. Looking to taking another cruise with Viking.

Cabin Review

The room and bed was surprisingly comfortable. There was adequate closet space to hang clothes but not very much drawer space. The cabin overall was very nicely decorated. The refreshment drawer was kept stocked with soft drinks and snacks and replenished twice a day. Nice balcony to sit and view the ocean and enjoy the Panama locks we went through.
