Over 25 cruises, several on HAL. We find the HAL product much diminished. Menus downgraded, although the food was better than an October cruise. Same menu every sea day for lunch. Almost every beef dish, including potroast, very tough, even in the Pinnacle. Entertainment was good and bad. Comedians performed in the BBKing's. You had to get there an hour before to get a seat. On our 10 night cruise 4 nights were movies, 3 BBC accompanied the LCS musicians, one night "Origin," about HAL's history. It's interesting the 1st time, but if you've been on HAL in the last year or so, no need to see it again. They could put that on the TV and have a comedian on the main stage. Maybe one less BBC movie and another main stage comedian. Drinks were fine, included wine was fine. Lincoln Center Stage was exceptionally good, don't know why they are changing one thing that sets them apart from other cruise lines. Never waited more than 10 minutes for the MDR, except for breakfast on sea days. Go early, before 9. Huge line to get in. Embarcation was the fastest ever, I think 15 minutes & we were in our cabin. Debarcation (self) long line, but moved pretty well, no complaints.
8131, under the pool. Chairs, tables start being moved around 5:30 a.m. My fault for not checking what was above us. Cabin was small (expected), clean, slightly worn, nothing awful. Ship is in drydock now.
