For a long time we had been thinking about visiting Antarctic but seemed like a difficult trip. Having cruised with Viking before, we received information about Viking Polaris and decided to take the chance. It was absolutely fabulous! Much more that I had imagined in every sense; from the design and styling of the ship, the destination, the kindness of the crew, the comfort of the cabins…to the quality of the food and the great weather we we’re lucky to have. The expeditions team was knowledgeable in every aspect, educational and helpful. We got to see unique creatures in their natural, pristine environment, and we had the opportunity of attending very interesting and informative lectures by the scientists and researchers onboard; where they have a lab where they fallow investigations about pollution, climate change, etc. Besides being a pleasure it was a cultural and scientific enlightenment!

Thanks Viking, for the trip of a lifetime!

Cabin Review

Comfortable, cozy, ample, well equipped and nicely decorated

Port Reviews

Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego)

It was OK, small but it’s located in the center of the city, so it is easy to walk to downtown and visit the city
