We had such an amazing 7 days onboard the World Europa! (12 to 19 February 2023). I had read the reviews before our trip, and was disappointed at the low ratings, but I can say now we had an absolute blast- I will cherish the memories we collected there forever, I really do not know why people are complaining!

Embarking in Abu Dhabi was super quick and easy. Once onboard we went the Pizza Burger for our first time- and it instantly became a family favourite. The food and atmosphere there are great and it is surprisingly quiet most of the time It is a really fun place to be- the girls (and hubby!) just loved the old school arcade games. We walked around and were just wowed at seeing all the beautiful places and the stunning details. We could go to our rooms at 2pm, by which time our luggage was already at our door. The rooms were very comfortable and kept beautifully clean. I am so sorry I didn't our room cleaner's name but he really looked after us and our rooms so well. We were in rooms 11192 and 11204 which worked out to be great choices. They were far enough from any entertainment areas, moving sun lounges and lifts to be nice and quiet, but also close enough to the lifts so that we didn't walk too far down endless passageways. After the Safety Briefing (which was quick and painless!) we wondered around the ship some more and were wowed even more! The World Promenade is just stunning! We spent a lot of time there throughout our stay and took many, many photos.

We had our dinners at the La Foglia Restaurant, and once again I was pleasantly surprised because it was not as the complainers had written. Our servers, Rolly and Alex, made us feel so welcome and really looked after us so well. They remembered our names and drinks orders, and their recommendations were spot on. The meals were delicious, with a good variety, always served hot, and we never waited long at all. One of the evenings Rolly and Alex sped things up so that we could get to a show on time, we never felt that the service was slow. Our one daughter had a birthday onboard, and the song that the waiters at La Foglia sang to her was so much fun- definitely one we'll never forget! (And the Nutella birthday cake was just so yummy!)

Cabin Review

Balcony Aurea

Cabin was cosy, as spacious as expected. Enough space for everything. It was kept beautifully clean

Port Reviews

Sir Bani Yas Island

This was the only port we visited, and the whole family really enjoyed it. A very relaxing day at the beach with a great lunch. It's very convenient to have the bridge joining the ship to the island so you can hop on and off as you want to.
