I chose this ship because I wanted to experience the larger NCL ship. I thought I had booked it during a less busy time because New York schools were off the next week. I was so wrong!!! The ship was overloaded with families.

The Encore is a beautiful ship. The buffet was top notch and we didn't eat at any of the specialty restaurants. The crew was incredible!!! I just sailed on Celebrity Beyond(January 2023) and the service was good but Encore definitely won in this area. I couldn't believe how friendly and happy the crew was, even during the chaos of a totally packed ship.

My last NCL cruise was on the escape where I experienced the best entertainment at sea. I was very disappointed that NCl canceled Kinky Boots. I couldn't book the choir of man(fully booked) which was frustrating. I was lucky that we saw this show on Escape. I hope/pray that NCL doesn't cut any more shows on their ships because for me that is one of their major strengths. Read more
