This is my ocean cruise number 25 so I think I can be objective. It was called: 7 NIGHT SOUTHERN CARIBBEAN CRUISE. I took this cruise thinking that Celebrity was a notch better that Holland America according to other cruisers. I had a "Concierge" stateroom 9189. The ship was not what I expected at all! The most amazing thing for me is that they charged my credit card daily, for 11 times, and for amounts that did not correspond exactly with the daily charges in my last statement. So I had to add 11 different charges (for a total of a 7 day cruise) and check if they corresponded or not with the last amount in my statement. What a headache! I absolutely prefer to be charged at the end of the cruise and only one time!

Activities were blah! Mainly Trivia quizzes. No lectures about the ports we were going to visit. No information about temperatures of the ports we were going to do excursions on. Mediocre shows at the Theater. The only facts that saved this cruise was the staff that was very attentive and helpful and a duo of Argentinian pianist and singer, the Skyline Duo. I received 2 wine bottles because I was celebrating my birthday. In spite of the Amenities describing "Sparkling Wine upon request" we only were given ONE bottle of champagne for the whole trip. I also have to mention the daily "delectable" delivered around 3 pm. It consisted of minuscule 5 or less pieces of cheese and wieners, some "chopped tomatoes and onions in oil", 2 olives and 2 tiny balls of cake. The description of the Concierge room did not paired with reality at all. I will go back to Holland America!

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

The balcony was not big but nice with 2 chairs and a tiny table. The beds were comfortable. I had to ask for a firmer pillow because the one provided were way to soft. The cleanliness under the beds was not very good. I found olive pits and a tiny brown bug crawling on one of the surfaces. Amount of hangers was good but mainly for men pants with metal clips that made a lot of noise when the ship was in not so calm waters. The "sofa" provided was small and for only one person. I suspect that sofa is also a bed. The restroom was extremely small. I'm very small and had trouble trying to dress in that space. Shower was good.
