Our first river cruise and certainly hope it won’t be our last. The ship was Al ost brand new and we had the added bonus of having the wonderful talent of Paul Carrack onboard who did 3 evening shows during our week long cruise. Paul Carrack is the lead singer who sang many hit songs ( How long - with ACE : Living Years - Mike & Mechanics ; Tempted - Squeeze ) and is described as the man with a golden voice.

Our cruise was wonderful, great weather and ending in the great city of Budapest. The food and service surpassed our expectations and we were kept ‘well watered’ with excellent wines and beers during meals. The staff deserve huge praise as nothing was too much trouble for any request made.

As an added piece of information, Paul Carrack will be onboard for another cruise in June from Amsterdam to Basel, a great opportunity to see and hear the great man and his band whilst visiting great locations.
