I went on this cruise for my mom's birthday. The cabin was an incredible 5/5, however, we wish the dining rooms had more vegetarian options. The pasta was amazing, especially the penne pasta with goat cheese and pesto that I got at Lumiere's when we boarded. The buffet was amazing, and served especially good desserts. The eggs benedict was also very good, and we all loved the pizza. The pool was very good, they had two hot tubs. It could get a bit crowded, so I recommend going to the adult pool instead if you are over 18. The waterslide was impeccable. It was a drop slide, where the floor would release from under you. It was a bit short, but very fun overall. The movies and shows were also very good, and Rapunzel (The show that was playing) was Broadway quality. Our air conditioning broke, and they moved us to the 8th deck, gave us a free getaway package, some snacks, merchandise, and $200 in onboard credit. We didn't get many things that cost extra, only a few specialty coffees, but we could live without those. Even if you don't spend any money, I assure you, you will have a great time. The wait staff were very kind, and they were from India. My family is from the middle east, and we love spicy food and Indian food. We told them we were vegetarian, and they asked if we liked Indian food. We said yes, and they brought us curry, naan, and other delicious foods. We weren't charged any extra, they were just very kind. Castaway Cay is amazing. The slide is very fun, and the water is warm, even in the winter. (We've also been to castaway in December-January.) Overall, this is an amazing cruise line, for families and adults, and if you don't mind splurging a bit, Disney Cruise Line is the way to go.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

Amazing rooms, super clean and very luxurious. Nice homage to ocean liners of the 1930s-1950s. Vintage style, but it doesn't look dated. Very spacious, and I think the shower and bathroom being in a separate room is very useful if you are travelling with multiple people. Balcony has very nice furniture and safe railings. The beds were very comfortable, even the murphy beds.

Castaway Cay

Amazing island! Beautiful scenery, although the food is very meat-centered, so I recommend eating onboard if you are vegan or vegetarian. The water is crystal clear and very blue, and I recommend bringing your own snorkels. (Snorkeling is free, but you have to pay extra to borrow a snorkel.)
