We enjoy the larger ships (in our late 50's) and Enchanted did not disappoint. I am now platinum and still find Princess better overall then Royal, Holland or Carnival. Yes, it is not exactly the same as 6 years ago, but nothing is. It was our first time in a mini suite (we used the upgrade bid process) and it was real treat to have the sofa and a tub. It was very fast to embark and it was the fasted ever for disembarkation with the new face scanning at customs.
The staff in the dining room, and bartenders were excellent. Out room steward was also friendly and efficient. Thank you Raymond in the jazz bar Take Five. Tip: Take Five is not busy and offers some great drinks after the late show. The fitness facilities are very good and lots of equipment.
Food was very good in the dining room with good prompt service. We usually ate at a table for two and enjoyed the flexibility to choose a time based on what we planned to do that day. We love the app, which is finally working properly and the tip is to book your dinner reservations prior to the cruise. Also the specialty restaurants booked up early so reserve at least 3 weeks prior to the cruise using the app. Crown grill was good but the waiter was very rushed. Sabatini's was perfect and we ate way too much food. Buffet food was also good and I enjoyed the many options, especially compared to the Emerald last June, which was very limited.
