Cabin:

First time on Carnival, first time inside cabin, first time guaranteed room vs choosing. Would do it all again. The room was spacious enough, good storage, not claustrophobic.

The ship is showing its design age a bit. It was built in 2004, but the design seems older than that. There is a design element that is a problem: There are only three non-hotel floors that you can cross completely from fore to aft. Only deck 5 does it without going outside for at least part of the journey. When using deck 5, you go have to through the smoking-allowed casino. There is no way around it. Decks 3 & 4 are public area decks, but there is no complete transit front to back. So you either have to go outside or through a hotel deck if you want to just walk around the ship without smoking / casino involvement.

The crew were an absolute treat, to a person. Great staff. Once you buy into the very relax and open vibe of the ship, everything just works.
