I wanted to cruise on the Newest Ship of NCL the Prima for a few different reasons. The 1st being able to drive the race cars. I had taken a cruise to Alaska with the NCL but because the weather was bad I never got to drive the racecars on that cruise. On the Prima I was luckier and was able to drive the racecars and it was the best money ever spent. I strongly recommend to everybody, that if they ever get a chance to drive these racecars, they will definitely enjoy every moment. The 2nd reason was to enjoy the new food-truck experience. This concept was well received and with the ease of placing orders at your table and received it in a very short time was really nice. Another reason that is very highly recommended.

There was a few things that was not so pleasant and that is the reduce size of the pool. Also, the saving of lounge chairs, even though not allowed, it was still being done and it was hard to get a chair. The next thing was not having a relax piano bar to listen to some background music and enjoy a drink with some conversation. They did have music available in the Atrium, but when I was leaving, I approached the singer and informed her that her voice was lovely but it was too loud to stay and listen to her. She looked a little upset that I would say such a thing, but if the music is too loud to even talk to others, than it's time to relocate to another area.

Next, was the fact that the bars did not have an ample amount of bartenders. Usually, we like to start happy hour at 4PM (1600), some bars weren't open yet and they opened at 4:30PM (1630), and with only 1 bartender. The guess had to wait over 15 mins. Sometimes the wait was longer when more guess were on board and still no additional bartenders. Lastly, as a Platinum Rewards member, I did not receive a greeting from my concierge in fact, I never got a greet or meet with the concierge. I also did not have my 2 bottles of water in the room that I am entitled to as a Latitude Platinum. It took 2 days to receive the 2 bottles of water and that was only after I met at the Latitude Party a Mr Cruz who was Officer in charge of roomservices and I informed him of that fact. I also had on a few occasions ask for having ice in a bucket each day at a particular time and that didn't always happen. I know NCL has cut back on personnel, but NCL needs to be aware that some reductions of services could/may have a negative impact on the guest. I believe that these items that I have listed will probably not deter me from cruising with NCL in the future. I still think that your the best cruise line among the others available, but this is just my opinion. Thank You for your time and consideration in this matter.

Cabin Review

Club Balcony Suite

It was OK. I will never choose a cabin again in the Bow of the ship. It was not what I expected.
