Chose this cruise last minute as we were in Baltimore. Its been a few years since we sailed Royal. We are Emerald members. This old ship should be seriously docked permanently. the ship is rusted and smelly. Carpets need to Our cabin was next to a Utility room and every night we heard rumbling noises from our shower. And the smell of sewer. Bringing this up to our attendant and Guest Services was to no avail. The room was clean and the only toiletries in the bathroom was one bar of soap for two people. We always bring our own but really?? Entertainment was lacking and trivia games gave away Bingo cards to winners. Come on, not even pens or cups or pins. Food in main dining room was very good and also good however often cold in the Horizon. Children were allowed to run around with not much supervision in the Solarium. Sorry but Never again Royal. I know things must be better on the newer ships but the cruise staff on Enhancement is apathetic.
