Wow. Where to begin. I read the reviews before booking and boarding so I knew what we were in for a ship that was small and outdated, but that's not what made this cruise unbearable. We were in an Owners Suite and it was nice. However, it was below Windjammer Cafe and the noise between 2-4am was horrible. Woke us up every night. The service on board was very over taxed and lacking but I could tell it wasn't their fault. There simply wasn't enough servers in the specialty restaurants.

Speaking of that, the menus have all been shaved down to half their size. When we paid for the package for unlimited dining, we hadn't realized the menus were so much smaller. The quality of the steaks in Chops was seriously worse than I have eaten at a no name diner. Giovanni's was really bland and lack lustered. We sent our steaks/meat back every time at Chops. Everything came to the table medium well when we asked for medium rare. We spoke to the Chef, who came out to our table 3 times during the cruise and he looked like he had done this many times before. The table next to us had the same problem.

For the price of the specialty restaurants, it was shamefully lacking quality.

Cabin Review

Owner's Suite

Cabin 8001 was nice. Bathroom looking beat up but the room was perfectly fine. However, I would tell anyone to avoid this cabin because it is directly under Windjammer Cafe and its extremely loud between 2-4am
