This was our 5th Celebrity cruise, however, it was not up to the standard we have come to expect from Celebrity, particularly when it comes to service and quality/selection of food.We had better service on our previous 2 cruises on Royal Caribbean Oasis class ships. The service in the main dining room was mostly rushed. Most of the servers did not interact with us as they have in the past.Main dining used to offer better meals(Now you have to pay extra for their specialty dining, when they used to include those items in the main dining room)

The service in the buffet was lacking; they were slow to remove dirty dishes and slow to replenish foods on the buffet. They often were out of many of the food items, ie, they ran out of lettuce on the salad bar. They never had enough teaspoons at the coffee stands in morning. We went to dinner at the buffet one night and they had about 1/3 of the usual selection, with no carving station, no make your own pasta, and they ran out of lettuce at 7pm!. It was not an alternative for dinner as it used to be. Desserts on buffet were mostly cakes, ice cream, cookies, with occasional pies. They no longer have puddings, cheesecakes or the like on the dessert bar.

Very few bar waiters in the bars; we had to go to the bar to get our own drinks most of the time. No information seminar discussing the ports we would be going to. Not much information on the TV about the ports or excursions. TV in cabin had no music channels. Most of the onboard shopping is very high-end. We didn't see many shoppers as a result.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

The cabin was nice and the attendant did a good job keeping it clean. Although the ship had been refurbished, they need new mini refrigerators as the one in our cabin did not really keep drinks cold.
