Me and my husband came for the first time as passengers, we have been working on cruise ships for 5 years, so as a crew we know how ships have to be clean and how to work and be nice to passengers. This ship didn't hit our expectations at all. As soon we arrive on the ship, we were waiting for a room to be cleaned for 5 hours(wasn't a big deal, but still) then we went to eat in Aloha and understand it was embarkation day and it was busy, but there was plenty dirty tables sitting around and no place to sit. Almost all crew is super slow, taking their time for whatever they do, they don't care. As I am saying we were crew and this is not acceptable. When you have rush hours you have to be more productive and make sure that everything is clean and ready. I never saw even once that somebody sanitize table after somebody eat. It's not about the covid, it's about ship standards of cleaning( even before covid,on the cruise ships everything needs to be sanitized all the time) Now, about service, Philippines staff was great, very kind and trying to please you with everything. Americans they don't have hospitality, they don't care and looks like they are here for fun not to work. Cadillac diner was always very dirty, when they clean tables, they throw everything on the floor( please train them how to clean, this is really unacceptable) Floor was always dirty with pieces of fries and chicken. All staff there was super slow and confused, girl from Philippines was great( I think she is manager there) she was the only one working for all of them, the rest of them were terrible. We were waiting for 2 shakes 35 minutes. Our cabin steward was amazing, very nice and kind and he did a great job( of course from Philipines
