To fulfill my wife's bucket list. The food, cabin staff, waiters, cooks, and facilities were first class. Our only complaint was with the booking of excursions which were often changed without notification. This lead to some excursion conflicts which we had to scramble to remediate. Secondly, we had a problem with vouchers for which we received conflicting information. Overall, we had a successful trip because we saw the Northern Lights and slept in the Ice Hotel. Our cabin staff were exceptional, for they were friendly and eager to be of service. The wait staff were attentive, and throughout the ship the staff always greeted us with enthusiasm. I particularly enjoyed the spa and spent many mornings there.

However, the visit to Amsterdam was not a success, for we saw little of the City, but the weather did not help. Narvik was educational, Tromso was peasant, and Alta was outstanding. Finally, Bergen was an ideal conclusion to our trip.

Very nice. Comfortable with enough room to relax.
