We chose this cruise as we wanted to see New Zealand and Australia and share it with our friends (2 other couples). The boat, cabin and staff were exceptional! The food and dining options were great! Really enjoyed them.

Unfortunately I have some negative critiques. First, there weren't many activities to do on the boat at night or during sea days. The passenger demographics were much older than we expected. This may have driven what was offered. I would have liked more show options, more engaging and fun activities during the day/at sea as well as night time clubs.

Second, the excursions offered were expensive and limited. By the time we were allowed to book excursions, they were no openings and we had to find our own excursions online. This was really disappointing as we were unable to travel past the port cities into the rainforest or outback areas. We did take a couple of the "included" tours but these were basically 1-2 hours on a bus driving around the city with commentary about the earthquakes. Not exciting.

Cabin Review

Great cabin!

Port Reviews

Auckland

Nice city. Disappointed cruise only included one day.

Christchurch

Nice city but not too much to see.

Hobart

Fun city. Enjoyed the wharf area. Recommend going up to Mt. Wellington (very windy) but beautiful views.

Melbourne

Great architecture. Easy to navigate within the city. Recommend a free walking tour if wanting to explore the city. Wished we had time to take drive on Ocean Road, visit rainforest, see 12 apostles, etc.

Napier

Not much to see or do.

Sydney (Australia)

Beautiful city! Would have loved to go to beaches or take tour of opera house or ebike tour but too short of a time in Sydney (only had a 1/2 day) without extending and staying in a hotel.
