This was our 9th RC cruise, first on Oasis Class. We had a group of 23 celebrating grandson's 21st birthday. Prior to cruise I linked our reservation for dining. When we boarded, there were several reservations not linked, 8 total people. We were assured it would be fixed. Despite several attempts, only 4 were able to dine at our tables, leaving 4 of our party seated at the other side of the room. My dining rating is average because we were unable to dine with our entire group; we have been on RC cruises before with up to 30 in our group and never had this problem.

Discovered you have to reserve the headliner shows on Oasis Class; two weeks before trip the website showed all shows sold out. I called RC, and was told there were plenty of seats, enough for every guest to attend every show once, just book on board. Tried to book Mama Mia, the Comedy Club, and the Aqua show as soon as we got onboard - everything sold out. We were told we could wait outside the venues and any empty seats would be available 10 minutes before show. I'm disabled and use a scooter, and there was a stampede when seats opened up, and wasn't able to even get to the door. My show rating is average, since I wasn't able to see the main shows, which is why I selected this ship.

The ship was beautiful, food was excellent, lots to see and do, but apparently rooms poorly designed and dining and shows poorly organized.

Ocean View Balcony

I booked a balcony room, as I always book on RC, and found that the staterooms on RC are much smaller than on the other classes of ships. Not very many accessible rooms, and none available when I booked a year ahead. I had no problem with my scooter in a balcony room on the Liberty. The way the furniture is arranged, my scooter, which is a very compact 3-wheeler, could not get past the bed, having to park it at the corner of the bed in the entry hall which blocked the bathroom and entrance. Very little room between bed and closet, so my husband and I were having to take turns squeezing around the edge of the bed and scooter to get to the closet, and not enough room for both of us to be at the closet at the same time. We are normal size, not overweight. Bathroom counter is very narrow and all cabinets and drawers are tiny. Considerably less storage than on other ships. Coffee table and bedside tables very tiny, no drawers in bedside tables. The safe was so small I couldn't even fit a travel jewelry case.
