This was our 24th. cruise overall and 10th. on Princess. We stick with Princess now because they offer a classic cruise experience without all the theme park trappings and children running wild. And their staff is outstanding, well trained, and eager to help. From the room steward to the buffet staff to the main dining room waiters, everyone was friendly and efficient. Even the executive and sous chefs made a tableside visit to ensure we were enjoying our dinners. We dined once each in the Crown Grill and Sabatini's and were treated to world class service by the staff.

The food throughout the ship was diverse and of high quality in my opinion. The buffet has a smaller selection daily than the last few Princess cruises for us and the main dining room menus lacked a few options for those who didn't like the dishes that change nightly. I'm a fan of desserts and found their selection to be very sparse in the buffet, mostly consisting of sugar free and gluten free items. No chocolate anything, no cookies either.

We had the drink package included and spent a fair amount of time in the various bars onboard. All had great ambience and the service was prompt. They have a much smaller selection of top shelf spirits than other Princess ships. That, along with the food selections, lead me to believe they are cutting costs just a little across the board. Not a good idea with all the cruise competition out there.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Comfortable cabin with extra large balcony. Clean and well serviced by our steward. Good t.v. reception, mini-fridge, wall safe, and plenty of hanger space. Standard sized cruise ship bathroom. No complaints about anything.
