I loved my first Viking experience, and I have always wanted to travel to Italy, so this cruise was a “no brainer”! The history involved in this journey was especially fascinating. The crew was amazing! Viking meets every possible need - some we didn’t even know we would have! We especially enjoyed the entertainment included. There was always something going on that was fun. The Viking Venus is phenomenal. We had only been on a River cruise, so we weren’t sure how we’d like the larger ship, but it became my favorite! I was concerned that, with so many passengers, there would be lines to get our meals, but that was never the case. We were advised as to the best times to come to the main dining room for dinner, and we never had to wait. There were so many options as to specific tastes as well. In short, I wish I could win the lottery and go on a Viking cruise at least once a year!! I could not praise our experience more!

Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

Plenty of space for my husband and me. Very comfortable, loved the balcony!
