We chose the Rhine River cruise as a last minute vacation after another trip (land with another company) was cancelled. Being our 3rd trip with Viking we did not hesitate. What we really like is the efficiency - there is nothing to worry about. The included activities were excellent as well as the extras. The Viking employees were all very courteous and attentive. The onboard activities are rather minimal, but certainly acceptable. The cruise director was very knowledgeable and provided great information, We were considering an extension in Amsterdam, but being sold out we opted for The Hague. The Viking staff at the hotel were fantastic as well as the Hilton they lodged us in. The cabins are very small and the TV seldom worked (we understood that it was a WIFI issue they couldn't overcome) - our only inconvenience. We always meet others on the trips and enjoy the opportunity to socialize with others. We have considered other cruise lines, but our experiences with Viking keep us coming back. We are headed out with friends on our 4th trip - this time on the Rhone in April 2023. We can't wait.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom

We stayed in a lower cabin. They were the only ones available because of the late booking. We have stayed below on another trip and find there is no issue. We like to take advantage of the included and some non-included activities so our time in the cabins are generally limited to sleeping. Not an issue.
