We’re small ship adults-only adventure cruisers (mostly Windstar), venturing onto a huge family-oriented ship for a short cruise to essentially nowhere, was a brave step for us. But we were pleasantly surprised. Here are our thoughts:

POSITIVE – STYLE AND DÉCOR – The Wish is breathtakingly beautiful from the largest detail (the ship) to the smallest detail (the artwork). The grand hall, overseen by a lovely bronze Cinderella, was stunning. The artwork throughout the ship was tasteful and beautiful… and there is a lot of it, but it is never cluttered. There is so much to say about this, I could on for pages. Suffice it to say that this has to be one of the most magnificent structures anywhere.

NEGATIVE – SMOKING – It’s bad enough that Disney allows smoking at all, but to devote one of the nicest of the outdoor areas to the smoking section is inexcusable. Disney brags about it’s environmental sensitivity, but it failed here.

Cabin Review

As above: Highlights here are the artwork, the comfy bed, and plenty of plugs. Although plenty of room under the bed to stow suitcases, the drawer space was a bit lean.
