My husband and I have always wanted to visit the Mediterranean and we finally decided to splurge on a 12-night Med cruise. We've previously only experienced 7 night Caribbean cruises - primarily with Royal Caribbean. We had a fabulous time and plan to cruise with Celebrity again in the future!

Cabin We booked a Sky Suite on the 12th deck and loved loved loved the huge balcony (179 sq. feet). The room itself was quite comfortable and had tons of storage for everything we brought. We didn't even use all of the storage. The bathroom had a full jacuzzi bath and lots of storage for bathroom stuff (think hair products, makeup, sunscreen etc..). The balcony was our favorite part of the cabin. It had 2 chairs and a table for dining as well as 2 full lounges with a side table. As soon as we got in the room I requested cushions for the lounges and our cabin steward brought them within a couple of hours. We pretty much dined on the balcony any time we ordered in (more on that under Food & Service).

Ship We found the Century to be a beautiful intimate ship with lovely spaces. I especially liked the Celebrity Theatre, Crystal Room (where we watched World Cup games), the Hemisphere Lounge, and Michael's Club. The only area of concern is that the 2 pools are quite small compared to other ships we've been on. However, we're not really pool people and we could lounge on our private balcony, so it wasn't an issue for us. We never felt crowded and never had to wait in long lines. Many reviews mentioned vibrations. We did experience vibrations for a few minutes primarily when we docked or left a port. It was not a concern at all..made you aware you were on a ship. Other than that, no issues. We had perfect weather and smooth sailing through this entire cruise.
