First off, knowing it's an older ship, but the ports I wanted to go to and living at Port Everglades makes it easy to go back on this ship. Went Thanksgiving time and 1/23, in the end enjoyed both cruises but clearly not the same Royal.

Staff, most asked basically knew nothing about "The Key" . The welcome lunch when finally finding out where to go, was like eating in the sauna in the main dining with no real AC running at least were the decided to seat all.. The internet package included with "the key" was confusing, if it was for one or two in the party.

My real beef is the service, NOT the same, the staff seemed new at this service thing, and a lot more pre cooked meals just heated up.(asked for a longer cooked pancake, you should have seen the look) Oh the staff, some were trying and some were excellent, and some seamed clueless on the English language when ordering.... Maybe these short cruises are training for new workers but clearly a disappointment in service.
