we had to choose this cruise because ncl kept canceling our other choices, e.g. Hawaii, and we had to do 2 b2b because ncl said regarding our FCC, "use it or lose it". we usually pick ncl because of the broadway musicals and the thermal suites on the new ships.
thermal suite used to cost $199 for 2 wks and $299 for a mo. the suite on the jade now costs $436 for 3 wks. and the jade suite is ho-hum w/ a jacuzzi, a thermal pool, heated tile beds AND it was under the bar or somewhere where loud music started at 8 pm -- so much for bedtime meditation. the cost of massage and mani-pedis also skyrocketed. we booked the ist leg of our cruise but did not bother with the 2nd.
MDR is open for breakfast w/ the same menu for a mo. daily specials like biscuits and gravy were greasy. a sort of Mexican special was served in a pool of grease. i returned mine and from then on only ordered eggs benedict. The service was great. The receptionist soon gave us a table for 2 by a window automatically. Dinner was good, but not great. Steak was tough. Ceasar salad was tasty, but the ship ran out of romaine after two wks and did not restock.
10604 Near aft elevators. Small, but lots of storage space. 6 in. table between beds. 3 internet ports. Typical cabin for older ship
