We are a young 40s couple who likes good food and high end service. We aren’t avid cruisers, but we go on at least 1 cruise/yr in addition to private vacations with A&k and Kensington and have been on over 30+ cruises (Disney, regent, NCL, royal carribean, etc etc).

On our first regent cruise, we knew we’d be younger than most of the passengers—we sailed in the carribbean on the splendor. We were at least 20-30+ years younger than the rest of the passengers, but they were all very pleasant, the food was amazing, and we loved the experience. We loved it so much that we booked an international cruise. I’m sorry we did…we just disembarked and we are so disappointed, I made an account to post this review. We journeyed from rio to Buenos Aires. What should have been a relaxing vacation was more like work. The service was not great, we got served cold food on the regular, the staff constantly mingled with guests, and the butler did not want to be bothered. For a cruise that boasts being high end, we expected more.

The pros: we had a seven seas suite and that was pretty great. We loved our room, and the bed was super comfortable and amazing. We also love that the pool is not crowded and there are cushioned chaises. The pool was also spectacular. The specialty restaurants are also wonderful and the food is good there. All inclusive is great and our butler kept the fridge stocked with sodas, water, wine, and vodka. The post cruise excursion was well organized and Iguazu falls was beyond spectacular!!!
