We had a wonderful Rhine cruise from Switzerland to Amsterdam. There were interesting tours and sightseeing everyday. The top three tour highlights: The medeival city of Colmar, the cathedral in Cologne, and Strasbourg. The afternoon of crusing down the Rhine and seeing all the castles was also wonderful.

The ship was modern and clean, and the service from the crew was all outstanding. Everyone was friendly, gracious and helpful. The food onboard was tremendous with daily offerings related to the place being visited as well and standards. We also enjoyed the evening entertainment in the lounge after dinner, it was enjoyable but not so loud that you could not have a conversation.

This was our first cruise, and in fact our first organized tour. it does pay to book activities well in advance. There are a lot of options, and it is easy to get a little over scheduled. Read more
