We chose this cruise because it was a special gift for one of our daughters. She wanted to see penguins :) and we wanted to go to Antarctica. Well we did not get the chance to step on the continent, but it was an amazing trip full of new adventures.
We were in a two bed suite.. I would say the only downside of the room was the creaking :) ( the ship is getting renovated in '24). our room staff was fabulous! the accommodations were great with room to spread out a bit in the living space.
the entertainment was perhaps the least valued element of the trip. I am sure it is a pandemic related issue given the difficulty in getting staff. while they were great dancers, there were musical numbers, and this is where they struggled a bit.
loved the cabin, a bit dark in the decorating, but the space was good. the only issue, as noted before was the creaking during the night. it was also located under the sun deck, our first night, they were moving the chairs on the deck at 10 pm, the steward and concierge helped us with that, and we did not have it again.
