Pre-Cruise - 3 destinations changed with no reduction in price. Complained to Azamara before we set off and were only given $300 onboard credit as compensation.
Check-In - Some sort of IT failure meant we couldn’t check in for 3 hrs. When IT system came back, even though we’d checked in online pre-cruise, the process of checking paperwork and taking photos etc. took a long time. No drinks, even water, was provided while we were waiting. As we were walking out of the building to the ship we spotted snacks and sandwiches etc. but we presume they were for suite guests only. The following morning we received a note asking all guests to go to customer relations to validate vaccination certificates again. This shows there must have been a flaw in the system the previous day. It should have been made very clear to all guests before they left their home countries that. Yellow fever vaccination was mandatory to land in Cape Town.
Cabin - Quite narrow - one of the smallest we’ve had for a balcony cabin. Bathroom was tiny with smallest shower we’ve ever seen. Bed is very comfortable with very nice linen.
