While Prima is a beautiful ship, NCL tried to make her all things for all people and failed almost everyone in the process. It’s as if a dozen different designers worked on their own areas without communicating with anyone else. Cabins are spacious and comfortable and Ocean Boulevard is nice but these positives are far outnumbered by other negatives. The main pool area is grossly undersized. The Surfside Cafe (buffet) is ridiculously small. There are too many upcharges for specialty dining options. The go-cart track should be sawed off and pitched overboard - what a waste of space! The ship layout is confusing. The gym is too small with a low ceiling. No, I don’t want to pay $100 a day for access to an adult “beach club”. The Syd Norman entertainment venue is far too small. It’s a good thing there were only about 1,600 people on my cruise - any more and I might have jumped overboard. Bliss is a much better ship.
