We chose this cruise because we previously enjoyed the Christmas Markets in Austria in 2016. The cruise started in Prague which had the nicest of the markets and was beautiful from the different periods of architecture that made this city from two hundred and beyond to date. The markets in the smaller German towns were nice and the Meissen porcelain factory was extremely interesting. Our biggest disappointment were the markets in Berlin, but the history of the city and other items made up for this.

The ship itself was quaint in size but luxurious even though the staterooms were small but functional. The food while good was not great. I found the selections to minimal and in some cases not what I was looking for or expecting.

The highlight of the cruise was our Cruise Director who was the best we have experienced in our 20 plus years of cruising.
